Checked 5 September 2026. This is a bounded inspection of three monthly reports and the specific wind-profile literature, not a claim that every public archive has been exhausted.
Useful numeric onsite data are public. The June 2026 report supplies all 30 dated rows of daily ambient measurements and a separate 30-row meteorology table. They have been extracted into JSON with provenance and field definitions, air-quality CSV, and weather CSV. Values were checked against the rendered tables; no graph was digitized. CSV blanks correspond to JSON nulls, not zeros.
| Public report | Recoverable dated numerical tables | Format limitation |
|---|---|---|
| May 2025, issued 7 July 2025 | B.1, printed B-2 / PDF 30: daily PM₂.₅, PM₁₀, TSP, NO₂ and daily maximum 1-hour NO₂. B.2, printed B-3 / PDF 31: daily weather. | Pressure has daily mean only; no numeric wind-direction column. |
| January 2026, issued 18 February 2026 | B.1, printed B-1 / PDF 33: daily pollutants, including PM₁. B.2, printed B-2 / PDF 34: daily weather. | Pressure adds daily minimum and maximum; no numeric wind-direction column. |
| June 2026, issued 10 August 2026 | B.1, printed B-1 / PDF 32, and B.2, printed B-2 / PDF 33, extracted in full. | Daily aggregates do not supply an hourly weather sequence. |
The June weather table contains wind-speed maximum/mean in m/s; temperature minimum/maximum/mean in °C; humidity minimum/maximum/mean in percent; pressure minimum/maximum/mean in hPa; and rainfall total in mm. Section 4.3 also supplies four isolated hourly extrema with clock times, retained separately in the JSON. Wind-speed maxima must not be labelled gusts: the section describes the monthly peak as an hourly average. PM values are µg/m³ and NO₂ is ppb. The peak NO₂ hour is not identified within each day. June report, §§4.1–4.3 and Appendix B.
These are construction-period ambient measurements, not flare emissions. The June report labels its air-quality validation Level 0 and requires 75% hourly completeness for valid daily concentration means. Missing readings and reporting precision are retained. The meteorology table does not supply hourly quality flags or establish a separate meteorological validation level. Neither timezone nor hour-start/end convention was established in the checked reports. The JSON preserves native NAD83 UTM coordinates for the distinct air and weather stations. Passive SO₂ and hexane-equivalent VOC remain qualified, interval-average results; Appendix D gives exposure from 1 June 13:00 to 30 June 13:00. They cannot be used as hourly gases. June report, §§1, 4 and laboratory certificate, PDF 47.
Each checked PDF has zero embedded attachments. The operator's inspected regulatory-filings index contained 306 links, with no linked CSV, spreadsheet, ZIP, or meteorology technical-data report identified. June Appendix A has hourly pollutant plots, daily weather plots and aggregate wind roses. These do not recover the full numeric hourly series, its precision or quality flags. The monthly report nevertheless confirms that an annual meteorology technical data report is prepared (§2.1, PDF 8). The existing Woodfibre contact route is therefore a concrete route to ask for that report and the underlying hourly wind direction/speed, temperature and pollutant files for May 2025, January 2026 and June 2026, with timezone, sensor heights and QC definitions. Nothing was submitted.
The published Bakri, Jackson and Doherty study used half-hourly Squamish radar-wind profiles and hourly RASS virtual-temperature profiles for 2010 outflow cases; §2, printed page 14, describes a −12 dB wind-data SNR filter. Its table-download links are station metadata, not the raw profile archive. The government Games report, §§11.1.2–11.1.3, describes an internal data website. A current UNBC institutional profile for Peter Jackson provides a verified research-contact route to establish the surviving dataset custodian and archive location.
A newer, distinct opportunity is documented by Mariani et al. (2020): Squamish Halo Doppler lidar observations began in May 2016. Its page 18 identifies ECCC as producer and offers data through the former obrs.ca site or by request. That hostname failed DNS resolution during this check. The later 2022 CAWS data paper, §5, links datasets for Iqaluit and Whitehorse, not Squamish. Targeted searches of Open Canada and ECCC catalogue/data domains did not locate a downloadable Squamish profile dataset. ECCC's current contact route can route an archive-location inquiry identifying the 2010 radar/RASS records and the separate 2016–2018 lidar study, requesting height gates, timing, SNR/QC and valid-data masks. Present instrument operation and availability remain unverified.
Daily observations can support checks of daily model summaries after time conventions are resolved. They cannot establish hourly plume direction, inversion depth, or the timing of pollutant peaks. No operational flare-exposure prediction has been validated with these files.
